Doug Humphreys: Lead Pastor. Doug joined Creekside as Lead Pastor in July of 2009 and is the main teaching pastor. Doug is passionate that churches -- communities of Jesus followers -- discover together how to more fully incarnate the sacrificial love of Jesus in and to their neighborhoods and the world. "It is not so much that the church has a mission but that Jesus’ mission has a church." Before coming to Creekside, Doug led a team with Church Resource Ministries committed to creating "gospel touch points" with those outside the reach of the traditional church, exposing them to the hope of Jesus and his bride, the Church. Doug has been married to Kelly for 25 years and together they have three great children, Matt and Alison (19) and Leah (17). They love to hike, mountain bike, read, and laugh together. Doug was a Lawyer for 17 years before entering vocational ministry and recently finished his coursework for his Doctorate of Ministry. "I believe that the church is called to be a sent people who regularly gather to pray, learn, sing, and share stories and life together in a community that is safer than the world." Look around; the Kingdom of God is near. Email: Dou...@ecreekside.com |
