Jeff handed out the following reports: Creekside Profit and Loss Budget vs. Actual, Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Previous Year Comparison, and Targets. He reviewed and explained each report. Bryan’s report and graphs for the congregation will show both the net income target and the offering target. The Nike team review at 4 months will be sent to the LT. The special offerings and interest income are included in the last week of the monthly gross income targets. Bryan will include this in his updates.

UPDATES

  • The 24-hour Centering Retreat for staff and LT will be from 2pm on Oct. 30 to 2pm on Oct. 31st on Camano Island.
  • The 24-hours of prayer debrief—There was a positive response from everyone attending. We will plan to hold one every 6 months.
  • Doug’s meeting with the Mayor of Redmond—Meeting has been rescheduled for tomorrow. Doug will send an e-mail to LT about the city’s Disaster Preparedness Training. It was discussed that participating in this training would be a great way to network with people who care about the community and to prepare Creekside for responding to a disaster in a way that benefits Redmond.

AGENDA

Marketing

  • Caroline researched what is currently available and distributed to newcomers to the Redmond area by the City of Redmond and the cost to belong to the Chamber of Commerce. It was decided not to pursue membership at this time. It was noted that Creekside is already listed on the website “Experience Redmond."
  • It was suggested that we need signboards by the entrance driveways to Redmond Junior High parking lots on Sunday mornings.
  • Becky volunteered to research welcome packets distributed by private apartment complexes in Redmond and how to include information about Creekside.
  • Bill volunteered to research info available regarding names of newcomers to Redmond and Kirkland.

Budget

Doug will give a monthly report during the church service.
