The 167: August 22, 2019

Coming out of our final sermon in the sermon series “Why we do What we do”, we focused on God’s global kingdom, encouragement, and hospitality, as well as the laborers being few but the harvest being plentiful.

Usually when you hear about that harvest being plentiful or think about Missions trips and doing service projects, often we imagine it as being far away. And that has been the focus for the past three weeks. However, this Saturday, we have a change to harvest in our local community! A collection of members from Creekside our participating in Jubilee Service Day and helping out at Sherwood Forest Elementary School. As we move into that work, please keep our members, but also all of the participants in Jubilee Service Day, in your prayers. Hopefully this will be a day where the work is plentiful and the laborers are many!
