The 167: May 9, 2019

How many different faucets or sources of water have you been able to use since this past Sunday?  How often?  It is definitely something that I take for granted most days.  This past weekend we took some intentional time to NOT take it for granted through the World Vision Global 6k for Water and our Global 6k Celebration on Sunday morning.  We have this beautiful ongoing partnership with Cov Kids Congo (powered by World Vision) where we have the opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus in bringing access to clean water specifically to a region in the northwest part of the DR Congo.  You can personally press into this partnership by giving a one time gift to our #TeamCreekside effort HERE or by sponsoring a child through Cov Kids Congo (this option will still be available this coming Sunday morning or you can do so HERE).

The issue of access to clean water is just one of a myraid of Kingdom concerns that Jesus calls us, as His people, into.  As we continue to journey through this 167, I encourage us all to be prayerfully alert to other areas of “doing justice and loving mercy” that God may be calling us personally into.
