Global Missions

At Creekside we are actively engaged in God's Kingdom mission around the world.  We have a Global Missions Ministry Team that exists to help people in all part of the world encounter Jesus.  This team does this by:

  • Creating an awareness of global missions

  • Providing opportunities for Creeksiders to develop a heart for missions

  • Impacting the lives of those ministering as well as those to whom we minister

WAYS TO ENGAGE IN GLOBAL MISSIONS

MISSION CONNECTION OPPORTUNITIES

Team World Vision & Global 6K

Each year we have the opportunity to partner with Covenant Kids Congo and Team World Vision to help make a significant difference in the name of Jesus in bringing clean water and community development to the northern region of DR Congo.  We do this by literally moving our feet at the Global 6k each May and through endurance events with Team World Vision.  We also regularly have opportunities for people to engage in child sponsorship.

Sharing The Harvest

Every fall we have the opportunity to partner with Covenant World Relief and many other Covenant churches around Washington to help make a difference in Jesus' name in the north western region of Kenya.  How do we do this? By simply buying bags of apples from farmers in the Yakima valley.

MISSIONARY PARTNERS

We partner with missionaries and missionary organizations all around the world.  In fact, 10% of every financial gift given to Creekside goes directly to supporting Kingdom mission efforts beyond our local ministry work!  For us, partnership means not just sending financial support but engaging in regular prayer support and other ways of connection.  You can learn more about our missionary partners here and most recent missionary update here.

MISSION TRIPS

Not all of our global mission activity happens stateside.  We have occasional opportunities for Creeksiders to go abroad and engage in global mission work on the ground in partnership with our some of our missionary partners.  These trips are often multi-generational.
