The 167: April 11, 2019
We have just come out of a mini sermon series by Keith Ferrin that had us immersed in chapter 8 of Romans. If you missed a Sunday, I encourage you to catch up on our podcast page here. As we aim every week to do our best at connecting the dots and live out our shared mission during the 167 hours between our Sunday gathering times, I encourage you this week to especially pause and soak in the truth of Romans 8:31 – “What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” May you be reminded every hour about how much God is for you. May it continue to revolutionize how you think about yourself and how you go about interacting and serving others. And may it set the stage for all of us as we enter into the coming “Holy Week” of Palm Sunday and Easter.
On a personal note, my family and I want to express our deep gratitude to you, our church family, for your incredible love, support, and prayers over the past 4 weeks…and for the gift of allowing me to take some precious and priceless time to be on paternity leave. It is good to be back “on” with you all this week…but is was also such a gift to have that time with my family as we transitioned to a party of five. Thank you!
