Welcome to “Holy Week”! Last Sunday we talked about how this original week ended up turning out very different than what most people were likely expecting. That’s so true about the Gospel. The Great News of Jesus is actually very unexpected…even shocking. This week, as you experience and meditate on the happenings of Jesus’ final days, may you encounter Him in fresh and unexpected ways.
And we can especially do that together at 2 special services happening in the latter part of this week. Join us for our Good Friday service on Friday at 6:30pm. Childcare will also be provided for that 1-hour service. And then make sure to join us at our normal service time of 9:30am on Sunday morning for our Easter celebration. It’s going to hopefully be a very full room, so I encourage you to arrive a bit earlier and to also scoot in and forward to make room for our visiting guests. And don’t forget that 5-minute challenge we’ve talked about before: take the first 5 minutes after the service to intentionally go meet someone new.
Please continue to join us in prayer and be inviting friends and family as we move into this weekend!
