The 167: March 7, 2019
What a great weekend of celebration we just had! Thank you again to our awesome planning team that pulled together our wonderful meal and evening together on Saturday night! We spent the weekend celebrating God’s faithfulness over the past 20 years at Creekside…as well as talking about and praying over where we believe God is leading our church as we press into the future. During the sermon I shared a lot of details around our discerned mission, vision, and immediate priorities. If you weren’t able to be there with us in the worship service, make sure to listen to the podcast [HERE] at some point.
As we continue to live out our faith in these 167 hours between Sunday services, I especially encourage us this week to be praying intentionally for people in our lives who have yet to fully encounter Jesus…especially as we walk through this season of Lent and head towards Easter. We were reminded on Sunday about the BLESS resource and people shared over 100 names that we can all be praying for. If you would like prayer partnership over names of people in your life, you can get them added to our prayer list by either turning in the BLESS bookmark this coming Sunday or emailing them directly to office@ecreekside.com
On a personal note, my family and I are so very grateful for all the love and support we have received from our Creekside family as we prepare for the arrival of our 3rd son this coming Monday (or perhaps sooner). Thank you for your ongoing prayers! And I am extremely grateful for the gift of being able to take some paternity leave to be with and care for my family over the next month. Thank you!
