The 167: May 16, 2019

This last Sunday we started our new spring sermon series called “We Are A Community.” We’re using the first four words from our newly clarified mission statement as a guiding framework over these weeks. And on Sunday we were reminded about the WHAT (Acts 1:1-9) and the HOW (Acts 2:42-47) of the church and why God even went this route. We, as the church, are all part of His ongoing mission…every one of us. And that mission doesn’t happen just on Sunday mornings at the corner of 24th and 173rd. It is happening all around our area during these other 167 hours.

Take a moment right now and look up from this screen. God’s mission is right there in front and around you. May we, as the Creekside Church Community spread all over the Eastside today, continue to prayerfully and faithfully press into His mission today.
