The 167: November 21, 2019

This past Sunday was confirmation Sunday- 7 students confirmed their faith and told us how we could pray for them. We as a church family can now in turn ask ourselves these very same questions and confirm our faith.

Start with the easy question-What is your favorite book of the Bible? Why?

Then move to the harder questions. When did you realize your need for to be reconciled with God through Jesus?

What is the hardest part of following Jesus- prayer, service, thoughts, study of God’s Word? And finally a good follow up question.

How can the church pray for you?

These are questions to probe our spiritual temperature. How do these affect your daily walk?

In Philippians 3 Paul admonishes us-press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 3:14

Let us not grow weary or complacent in our faith journey..
